Hi!
My name is Steve. I live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with my wife
Diane and my sons David (7) and Josh (5). We enjoy the mountains
because of their awesome beauty and the outdoor playground they
provide. We love to hike, fish, mountain bike, climb, canoe,
and we revel in the winter skiing!
We
also love the unique community which is Jackson Hole. With only
12,000 people in town it's a great small town atmosphere. However
since we are the gateway town to both Grand Teton and Yellowstone
National Parks, over 3 million people visit each summer, and
more come to ski and snowboard each winter.
I
come to coaching from an extremely wide experiential and educational
background. My coaching training is from
Limitbusters Coach Training Academy which specializes in
Attention Deficit Disorder coaching.
I
have two masters degrees. My first masters degree is from the
University of Arizona is in Exercise Physiology. I put this
learning of human performance into practice as a swim coach
and earned "Age Group Coach of the Year" from the
US Swim Coaches Association.
My
second masters degree is from Regent University in Practical
Theology. This is the "traditional" seminary degree
from a great school with an international reputation. I have
taken my theological and leadership training and am putting
it into practice as a Life Coach and Natural Church Development
consultant. I also teach a course at a local junior college
on World Religions. I am currently on staff at the Jackson Hole
Christian Center working on implementing Natural Church Development.
I
coach in a relaxed authentic style drawing from my varied background
and collected wisdom. My passionate belief is that we were all
created to uniquely impact our world. I work to help my clients
understand themselves, accept their strengths and weaknesses,
develop clear focus and take action toward their dreams.
I
am proud to be the third generation of Gilmore's to be called
"coach". I feel called to continue in my father and
grandfather's tradition of impacting others lives, and I'm excited
about taking their tradition into this new paradigm of improving
human performance!
