I contacted Steve Gilmore for personal coaching. I have gained great insight about myself and those closest to me. Coaching with Steve empowers me to take practical steps to resolve the challenging issues in my life.

The results have been life changing, in my ministry, my job, and most importantly in my relationships with my wife and children. All this because I began to drink from the Living Water again. There is a freshness in my relationship with my first love- the Lord Jesus Christ. My ministry is once again flows from my Source and brings His life to those who He desires to touch. My passion is coaching Christian Leaders. I provide an environment to release God's potential in you, unfettered by church or denominational politics. I also am a certified Natural Church Development Coach and Consultant. I work with leadership in all denominations to measure and improve 8 quality characteristics of healthy growing churches.

Coaching is a very Christian process. I believe that coaching is much closer to the biblical examples of discipleship and mentoring than many current practices which focus on prepackaged, doctrine based, teaching. Jesus' example was of literally walking with his disciples day by day, using the events and images of the disciple's real life to help them understand and act upon God's principles. (Mat 4:23, 9:35)

I believe great Christian coaching is following Jesus' example and walking beside people in the midst of their very real lives and encouraging them in the things God is calling them to act upon. A coach comes alongside you and empowers you to accomplish Kingdom of God purposes. Absolutely nothing can replace God in your life, but a coach can help you focus and keep you accountable to God's call to impact your community.

A great biblical example of a coach is Barnabas. In fact when Natural Church Development materials were being translated in Japan, this concept of coaching was translated "to Barnabize"!

If you are a pastor, coaching is particularly useful because I'm not in your church! I can coach with a clear heart and a clear head unbound by any of your local or denominational politics. I don't have my own agenda for you. I can therefore focus completely on you and your needs! I may me the only person in your life who can be 100% for you! Wouldn't that be awesome?
